Depending on your circumstances, adoption may be an alternative worth considering. You may think that you would never choose adoption for your child, but some women find that it provides the best option for themselves and their babies.
A decision to place your baby for adoption is not easy. You as the birth mother have the right to make all the decisions when it comes to adoption. Will it be opened or closed? Will it be private or will you use an agency? You are in the driver’s seat when making an adoption plan. You may be ready to consider adoption if you:
Adoption is a selfless gift that takes a great deal of love and sacrifice to consider. We are not an adoption agency but we are here to help you. We provide free adoption consultations and counseling. We can also provide you with a free pregnancy test and ultrasound to confirm your pregnancy. Then, if you are ready, we can help you explore adoption alternatives in the North Central Florida area. We will connect you with an adoption agency that will explain the adoption process in Florida.
Adoption may or may not be the best option for you. We can discuss the adoption with you and connect you with adoption agencies, if desired, to help you learn more about the details.
Adoption is not ‘giving up’ your child. It is giving your child a future by placing your baby in a family that you have selected yourself.
You are not abandoning your baby. You will always be the loving first parent who actively participated in planning for your child’s future.
Through an “open adoption” process, you can meet and stay in touch with the adoptive parents that you have selected.
Open adoption can be beneficial for your child who will grow up knowing about his/her history rather than having unanswered questions about the family of origin.
Adopted children grow up knowing that their first parents loved them so much that they made a way for them to have the life that they truly wanted for them.
Adoption is legally transferring parental rights from one parent to another. This is a permanent arrangement.
Adoption is not foster care or “going into the system.”
Adoptive parents in Florida undergo a stringent process to ensure your child’s well-being in his/her permanent home.
You have time … time to decide what you believe is best for your baby.
You have a one-of-a-kind person growing inside you. You are carrying someone special and completely unique. There will never be another person just like your baby.

Our pregnancy tests can determine pregnancy the first day after your first missed period. We recommend you make an appointment if you have missed a period, have any pregnancy related questions, or think you might be pregnant.
After completing paperwork, we will review your information and a pregnancy test will be administered. If you have a positive result, we will schedule an ultrasound for you.
All our services are provided free of charge.
All you need is photo ID. If receiving a pregnancy test or limited ultrasound you will need to drink plenty of water to ensure you have a full bladder.
Absolutely, you can bring your boyfriend, family member or friend. We will talk with you privately first. Then provided you have given us consent to have them in the room, your guest will be able to join you.
We adhere to a strict privacy and confidentiality policy. Clients will be protected from disclosure of information that violates their right to privacy except where required by law, required for public health reasons, required to avert a threat of harm to the client or a third person, or when other circumstances may reasonably warrant such use or disclosure without prior authorization (e.g., abuse reporting, suicide/homicide prevention, etc.)
